Excitement, Fun, and a very steep learning curve, are only some of the treats in store when you join a weekend Introduction to Sailing course, on beautiful Carlingford Lough.
We are strategically positioned just an hours drive from either Dublin or Belfast.
Join one of our boats (seven berth ELAN 36's) on Friday evening for safety briefing, followed by dinner aboard. Saturday Morning after a hearty Irish breakfast, head out into the Lough where tuition begins; learning the ropes, the jargon, trimming the sails and actually helming the boat. Back to the Marina for dinner aboard, followed by a night's craic in the village. Sunday if the weather permits we actually venture out of the Lough into the Irish sea and make a passage to an alternative port, such as Clogherhead, or north to Annalong. We return to Carlingford on Sunday evening , and set you free to reflect on one of the most enjoyable experiences you have ever
had.
